Why moms love having boys

I have four boys ages almost 12 down to 3. Boys are not as emotional as girls. They are relatively drama free, depending (we have a drama king!). They are sweet, thoughtful and fun when they want to be! ;) They have their moments though.

There are things I don't like:

Boys are harder on the house than girls. They are just all the round more rough and tumble.

Boys come out with more rude things than girls but in truth it can be what makes them funny!

Boys are harder to get to work than girls. My girls are hardworking, industrious people, even my seven year old out shines her brothers sometimes.....it seems to be harder to get our boys there than it was our girls.

I am sure there are other things I love and hate, but those are what's coming to mind at the moment. Feel free to add your own!

I only have boys, four of them, and I often wonder what I would do with a girl. I would treat her the same Im sure but I know there are differences.

I don't know about that...our girls have been easier in some respects.

Currently trying to potty train my little girl (Ember). She is insisting that she is still a baby like her brother. Soon to be brothers. I keep hearing boys are easier to potty train. I hope this is true.

I am excited about having another little boy, but at the same time Ember really wanted a little sister. I am still not used to all the bruises from Jake. Only time will tell if my hair begins turning grey with in the next year or so.

Boys are def easier to entertain! (for now)

I had always wanted a boy but for 6 years, God only blessed me with girls so when I found out I was pregnant on April 1st, 2010 (yeah, took the nurse a while to convince me she wasn't playing a joke) I HOPED beyond hoped for a boy. Couldn't even imagine what I would do with FOUR girls. Got what I wished for and I was in heaven. Shortly after his first birthday we were expecting again and ANOTHER BOY!!....Then my oldest son hit 2 and every day since then I have wondered what I was thinking asking for a boy!!
I am completely in LOVE with my boys, they are my babies but they are SOOOO much harder than my girls. My girls were sweet and mostly quiet. They have their share of emotional break downs don't get me wrong but my boys are driving me crazy! They are these little balls of angry, destructive energy that have no off button!!
I am incredibly excited for the later years with all their activities and stuff but they are insane little midgets!! LOL

My little boy is so sweet, but he drives me crazy. When I was expecting him I didn't really listen to everyone who said boys were so much different. I figured a baby was a baby. Fast forward to when he was 12 months old and making ramps out of pillows to ride his riding toys off of. Or surfing in his tonka truck. Or jumping off his sisters bunk bed ladder at 2 1/2 and almost breaking his leg. Yeah, that was because he was "siber" man and his web didn't shoot. But then there are the moments when he wraps his arms around my neck and tells me I am the best mommy, or that he loves me, or when my oldest daughter makes a wisecrack about putting me in a nursing home, he says he's going to take care of me. He does drive me crazy with the never ending, perpetual motion, but he is also one of the sweetest kids I have ever seen.

Mine never have really hit the too cool for mom stage. My 17 year old will still hug me in front of her friends, and she loves when we go out together. LOL The only one who has really hit anything like that is Daniel. He is too big to hold my hand anymore, but he still hugs me in front of his friends. Oh, and my princess Rosalea, who has hit the I'm too big, I do it myself stage. Sigh....
