Anyone out there?

The whole reason I signed up for this website was to find moms like me, share stories and pictures, learn what I can. Though it has been so fun to do that I found that there isn't much depth to conversations, not too many moms like me. I have actually been criticized four times already.
Yes, my kids wear cloth diapers, yes, my son is circumcised, yes, I still breast feed my toddler, yes, I spank my children No, I do not vaccinate my children, no, I do not buy modern toys, that is what their imagination and the outside is for, no, I do not feed them preserved and unhealthy junk and no, they are not allowed to watch any form of modern cable.
That's just how I am, im sorry if it isn't what you do. Im sorry if it offends you! I love hearing what you do, even if it is different from what I do!
Take my as I am, please don't criticize me! Love you all!

Hey Amber.. whoa, I'm not sure who criticized you.. but we are ALL so different, that's the beauty of this place, NONE of us are alike! Theresa GouldLOVES home births and tells us all about them.. she also home schools. I plan on getting an epidural and probably could never home school.. we aren't all alike.. it would be SO boring if we were! I plan on cloth diapering, I think I shared this with you... it's a huge "to each their own" place around here.. the point of Moms.com is to support, listen, share and be there for one another.. we don't want little robots, we love hearing how different you are :)

We're all here to SHARE our experience, pictures, advice and love. We're not trying to direct any moms to follow our ways, but we're discussing planning, pregnancy, our babies and our life as a future or present mom. We're even have grandmothers who like to share their opinions and it's beautiful. Just wonder what do you mean by there isn't much depth to conversation? We will appreciate your feedback( both positive and negative) and suggestions, please message me if you have any questions. We're glad to have you here, Amber!

Thanks everyone, I really needed to hear that! It was so weird, I had only talked to the kindest people then today when I got on I had some very nasty messages about how I raise Ben and Bryn . It was disappointing, but knowing that your love and kindness overpowers their rudeness and negativity is just amazing, thank you everyone.

I am sorry you have felt criticized. I think it is important for all of us to look at the general tone of Moms.com and remember it is a supportive, encouraging group of women. It is rare to come across someone who is critical and rude. If that does occur, please report that person so we can keep Moms.com the community it was meant to be. As we grow that may or may not become more challenging, but know it is our goal to keep Moms.com a nice place to visit and spend time at.
