Help for child having night terrors

Brynlee used to have dreams about things I didn't even know she could comprehend. Without really knowing what was happening she tried to explain her dream; a masked man shooting us and her baby brother and she was alone in a room. That is horrible for a two year old to see, even in her sleep. Ashton talked to her and said that would never happen and we will always protect her. Ash slept with her the next 2 nights until she felt safe again. I think she only thought about that because she caught a glimpse of her daddy watching Terminator.

I have often wondered if some of the things my husband let our son watch contributed to night terrors because none of the other ones ever had them.

I do believe that is what it is. It has only happened that one time after watching about 10 minutes of the movie
