Wraps!

I know I chatted about this once before.. but with NEW MOMS here.. I thought I would inquire what everyone thinks about WRAPS - those snuggly little wraps that you stick your baby in to get to work done, soothe them, maybe make life easier... ?

I want to try them for sure.. but would love to know if YOU did.. and if you loved them, hated them, have a favorite, have advice or tips?

I liked the slings better than the wraps. To me, they were too complicated to figure out and most of the time I could not get them tight enough for the baby to be secure.

I liked my sling, I made it so I put extra padding in the shoulder but found my neck and shoulder would hurt. I tried a wrap thingy (not a mobi) but didn't like it as much as my Ergo. I loved my Ergo. Once I got use to it, it really didn't hurt my back and baby seemed so secure and I felt comfortable being hands free to do things.

It was given to me, so I don't know the brand. I just know that my kids loved being close to me and it was easy to breastfeed. I used to use it to breastfeed while grocery shopping. Made my life so easy.

Loved my sling! It was the best decision I made after having my daughter. I have a hard time wearing the regular store bought carriers because of my bad back. I had a ring sling which I think offer a few more options as far versatility. I got mine from http://www.sleepingbaby.net/ love her ring slings. They are all custom made to your sizing, and you can choose everything from the design to the fabric it is made out of, and she also offer quite a few resources on how to use your sling http://www.sleepingbaby.net/wearing/index.php. Good luck. Eeek makes me want another baby.
