How to get your child eating fruit

For some reason I have never had any issues with getting my children to eat fruit. We make sure to serve them 2-3 servings of fruit each and they eat it. They will eat more, if I let them.

Easy, do what I did; Don't give them much or any sugar in the first place! Sorry, not sorry. My kids never have any sugar until at least one year unless it is naturally found in food (fruit sugar)

yup! Your milk and starter foods are fine! Sugar just fills them with innutritious empty calories and fats!

I throw a fit when people try to give any of my kids under a year anything with sugar and I tell them flat out the first sweet thing they get is birthday cake on their first birthday!!!

That is what we did too! they got their first sugar on the 1st birthday! In my opinion it just makes the experience so much more fun!

introduce veg first so the baby doesn't get a taste for fruit and sweetness and refuse veg in long run!

Demetri 3 will eat just about anything. If he does refuse something (extremely rare) all I need to do is provide a dip of some sort or turn it into a quesidia (sp?). Jericho 7 was a great eater up to 4 years old then turned into "Picky Gonzollez" he will eat no canned fruits, the only canned veggie he'll eat is greenbeans and only with dill in them. Nothing can be mixed and absolutely no sauces.

my son mainly eats just fruits and veggies, he is picky when it comes to meats. He also has the red fruit allergy so we have to watch what he can have, but he makes up for it with other fruits. kids in his class ask doesn't he miss out and he says "no cause I like apples, bananas and grapes more"

and when we go to Giant to go grocery shopping the first thing my son asks for are apples and a salad from the salad bar. he also loves cooked cauliflower and broccoli. I don't do sweets, candy and fruit snacks are all natural and sugar free, same with his apple juice which i also dilute with water
