Home remedies for children with a sinus infection
My husband uses peppermint essential oil for his sinus infections. He breathes it in and it works. So that is what we'd have our children do as well.
When your nasal passages become inflamed, that’s a sinus infection. Viruses, bacteria, or even allergies can lead to sinus infections. Your children might need antibiotics so check with your doctor.
This is what I do too! :) If I went to the doc every time I thought I had a sinus infection, I would become IMMUNE to what they give me!
I try not to play around when it comes to my kids and infections being that i'm not a doctor, but at first signs of cold are sinus allergy I make sure to keep up on their probiotics, multi and vitamin c with zinc and Echinacea. Usually this combo will kick the germs butt and they are good within two days.
I will have to try this sometime. I swear I get them all the darn time! most of the time they go away on there own so I never go to the doctor, unless of course I get bronchitis from it which seems to happen alot!
