Nurse Maids Elbow and a Crazy Day!

first off we were having a fabulous day Holly took her first steps! But then I took her down for lunch and grabbed her hand to pull up her sleeve like I usually do and felt a small pop, then crying. Then whenever I touched her arm terrible crying. I felt terrible and was immediately upset because I had hurt her! I called the doctor and described what happened to the nurse, she had us come in. The doc knew just want to do. And apparently there's something called nurse maids elbow, basically I slight dislocation. As soon as he put it back she was fine, she didn't cry or anything or didn't even act like it was sore. Just right back to normal. Thank goodness it wasn't anything serious. But needless to say I felt horrible!!!

My daughter gets it all the time it started in OT when she was 2 months old and she is so small and frail we are not allowed to hold he by her arms at all its under the arm if we need to pick her up or it will happen again. But good news is you can pop it back in Nurse maids elbow is just popped out of place.
