Food!

I love food and love to cook, but the nausea gets a little overwhelming at times. Soups and poached eggs on toast are the only things I can handle at the moment. Does anyone have tastey healthy recipes they might want to fork over?

Thanks, I will look it up. I love fresh fruits and veggies but we are currently living on one income until I find work here in New Mexico so the funds are a little small for 100% healthy foods. I think it is sad that we pay more for healthy food and way less for cheap processed.

I have been * slightly * obsessed with eggs benedict lately. I just need to figure out how to poach an egg.

It does sound like you are craving protein. My theory is to eat what you crave when you are pregnant. When I was pregnant with my middle child the only thing I wanted to eat and could keep down were McDonald's cheeseburger happy meals. Looking back, I needed the calories because I was so sick. My vitamins took care of all the important stuff, I just needed fat and calories.

Is Tuna fish okay to eat?

Andrea I just had a poached egg on toast with a little olive oil, salt and pepper and slice of a peanut butter, banana toast. I wish I could teach you how to make them it is really easy once you get the hang of it!

If you boil ( you don't want a vigorous boil)about 3 cups of water with a dash of vinegar and pinch of salt. Crack the egg close to the water to keep a better form and use a spoon to splash the water over the egg. you should see a good layer of the egg whites over the yolk before it is ready!
