Excited & Nervous about Monday's NT Scan!

I am so excited about Monday's NT Scan. They have told me that there is a very good chance if the baby cooperates they will be able to tell the babies gender. At the same time I am a little nervous. I am 12 weeks and 1 day. Monday I will be 12 weeks and 4 days. I had two previous miscarriages since 2011. The first one stopped growing at 13 weeks and the other at 8.5 weeks. Both I had no signs of miscarriage ... I just went in for my doctor appoiintment and there was no heart beat. So of course ... with each u/s I am super nervous.

Of course the up side to it ... this baby has had a strong consistant heartbeat all the way through and was bouncing all over the place in our last u/s at 10 weeks 4 days. So I think it will be okay ... there's just always that fear after going through that twice.

Cant wait to see what Monday brings!!! Going to be a long weekend!

I think it's normal to feel that way after a loss. I know I did after my six. I hope all goes well on Monday and look forward to hearing your update! Try to keep busy over the weekend to make time go faster.

Babies heart rate was great at 146 bpm. Everything looked good on the scan so far. They done the blood work and will get that back in 7 - 10 days. That will also give the gender as well :)
